Discover Something Groundbreaking

Hi there! My name is Aaron Wendell, and I am a student at the University of Illinois. I discovered my passion for writing music only a couple of years ago, but it is a medium that I find great joy in, and I hope to spread that joy to musicians around the world. Coming into college, I had little direction in where I wanted to go. I had been accepted into a top-ranked business school but felt that my heart fell somewhere else, and that was in music. I ultimately decided to switch my path in college due to the work of composer's music that changed the way I thought about classical music in high school. I plan on teaching and helping young musicians to keep music in their lives after their teenage years. I hope through my compositional voice, I can inspire young musicians like I was inspired in high school and maybe get them to see that if their heart lies in music, they should keep on pursuing their passion and never look back.
